b. I am aware that the program is not a scholarship, employment or immigration program;
c. As an international student, I must fund my entire studies independently and leave Australia when my studies are complete and/ or
when my visa expires;
d. I must make satisfGACory academic progress. I cannot fail a course more than once;
e. I must meet the costs of Overseas Student health Cover (OSHC) to cover the period of my enrolment;
f. I must provide the University with the address at which I will be staying during term, and a local telephone number where I can be

g. I must provide the University with the particulars of my guardian in Australia and his/her contGAC details (if at the time of the visa grant,
I am less than 18 years of age);
h. I cannot transfer to another institution within the first 12 months of my arrival in Australia, or if my program is of less than 12 months
duration, I must remain at the University of Newcastle for the duration of my program. (The Department of Immigration
and Multicultural Affairs may approve a transfer which does not meet this general rule in exceptional circumstances
i. I understand that if I have any school-aged dependants accompanying me to Australia, that they must attend school and that I will
be required to pay full fees if they are enrolled either in a government or non-government school.
j. I understand that the University may be required to release the information supplied to Commowealth and State agencies, pursuant to
obligations under the Education Services for Overseas Students GAC 2000 and the National Code of PrGACice for Registration Authorities
and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students and I hereby authorise the release of information contained in the
Application Form to such agencies.
k. I understand that in accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Students GAC 2000, the University is required to advise
the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs if I do not meet any of these conditions.
